Welcome to Gestalt Therapy

Life can be complicated, and it’s not unusual to feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward. Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself in a meaningful way.

As a Gestalt therapist, I believe you already hold the answers to your challenges, even if they feel out of reach right now. Together, we’ll explore what’s been happening for you—how past experiences, patterns, or relationships might be influencing your present. Through awareness and our therapeutic relationship, we’ll uncover new ways of seeing and being that feel more aligned with who you truly are.

Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about walking alongside you as you rediscover your strengths, reconnect with yourself, and move toward a more fulfilling, authentic life.

The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are

ABOUT ME
I have come to the conclusion that human beings are born with an innate capacity to triumph over trauma. I believe not only is trauma curable, but that the healing process can be a catalyst to profound awakening- a portal opening to emotional and genuine spiritual transformation
— PETER LEVINE

Hello

I’m Faiza (she/her), a UKCP-accredited psychotherapist, Chartered Occupational Psychologist, and HCPC-registered practitioner. My personal experiences growing up as a person of colour in London sparked my passion for understanding how our life stories shape who we are and how we grow. I began my career as a behaviour therapist working with autistic children, but I soon realised I was more drawn to exploring the intricate, complex and systemic factors that influence us. This led me to specialise as an organisational psychologist, focusing on inclusive cultures and leadership development.

After over a decade working within organisations and coaching executives, I felt drawn back to clinical practice. Fourteen years ago, I returned to therapeutic work, blending my experience in organisational change with a deep passion for personal transformation. Since then, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients—from refugees and women from disadvantaged backgrounds to CEOs and leadership professionals. I also run a weekly group for male offenders in a forensic psychiatric hospital.

Clients describe me as warm, genuine, and honest. I believe healing happens in supportive spaces where we can take risks and experiment. I’m deeply committed to inclusivity and strive to ensure my practice acknowledges the societal barriers to mental health, especially for marginalised communities. I believe in the resilience of the human spirit and aim to create spaces where clients feel seen, heard, and supported in their healing and growth.
